The piano we just purchased is fabulous. I LOVE it!! I almost cried when I got to really sit down and play it at home for the first time. Thank you so much!! It is absolutely beautiful--the sound and the touch are everything I hoped for. I feel very blessed because this piano is a dream I have had for many years, and it was basically a gift to me from my husband (he sold one of his valuable bikes) and my grandfather (some inheritance money I received). Dear Mr. Kimball

It is true that Bob Kimball sells pianos. But the personal signature that Bob brings to The Piano Shoppe of Cary is the approach he takes to the business. For him, it is not just a business, it is a calling upon his life. This was evident to me within just a few minutes of meeting Bob for the first time in 2009. At the time I was searching for a concert grand piano for my home, which I would use in my professional work and activities as a performing artist and teacher.

Unfortunately, at the time, Bob did not have anything like that on his showroom floor. However, he immediately began making phone calls and within just a few minutes, had referred me to another dealer that could perhaps help. I was so impressed with his immediate concern for helping me find the right instrument – even though it would mean purchasing from another dealer – that I knew I had found a rare and valuable contact.

I had just about abandoned all hope of finding the instrument I wanted at a price I could afford, when I stumbled upon a 9’ Baldwin SD-10 concert grand piano for sale. I hired Bob as an independent technician to inspect the piano. He went several steps further, and acted on my behalf as a buyer’s agent – and the piano I had long dreamed of owning was mine at a price that was seemingly unheard of. Bob took Monday’s hopeless situation & turned it into a lifetime of dreams come true on a Thursday afternoon. Had it not been for Bob, none of that would have happened.

Since then, I consistently refer my piano students and families to The Piano Shoppe of Cary when families are interested in purchasing an instrument for their home. Bob not only stands behind his pianos, he stands in front of them – and his passion for providing the community with fine pianos is evident in everything that he does.
